Congratulations on Your Successful Migration!

 

Thank you for your assistance throughout the migration process. A support team is available to help you through any issues or questions you may have � please contact Level 2 Support if needed.

 

Note: If your computer was not online at the time of migration, you did not migrate. A message has been sent notifying you of your next steps.

 


IMPORTANT: Critical steps to be completed after you�ve successfully migrated:

Any users who have received a new computer/PC after March 1st, do NOT need to complete the instructions below.

 

1)       The following morning, log onto your laptop/PC with your ascentgl.net credentials.

2)       Open the Start Menu and click on the �On Demand Migration Desktop Update Agent� option:

 

 

 

3)       When the application opens, you should see your Roadrunner account in the Account Information box and your new email address below. Click �Start� as prompted and the final migration process will start:

 

 

 

 

4)      After choosing 'Start', you may be prompted to close any running apps (shown next to each app as 'Not started' below). If an app shows as �Not Started�, you will be prompted to choose the blue hyperlink to the right asking you to �exit� the app. Once all apps have closed, they should show a 'Completed' status like the below screenshot. Continue closing any apps that are open. Once complete, choose �Next':

 

 

 

 

5)      Click �Next� as the application will go through configuring different services. Please Note - This process can take up to 30 minutes to complete:

 

 

 

 

6)      Once this is complete, the window below with three green checkmarks will appear. Congratulations - your migration is complete!

 

 

 

7)       Once you choose �Finish�, a licensing agreement, Outlook, and OneDrive will all pop open asking you to log-in or accept.

 

 

Technical Workarounds and Guidelines:

Specific documents about post-migration access and communication were provided for the following workflows: Accessing Shared Mailboxes, Communicating in Teams, and Accessing SharePoint. Instructions and links for these applications were sent in the preceding communications (link T-3).

 

What Are the Expectations of Beta users?

Document any experiences you weren�t told to anticipate. As part of the Beta group, you are being migrated well ahead of the migration of other services and technologies. If you�d like to review the considerations and responsibilities of a Beta user, you can refer to prior communications (link T-5).

What Should I Expect after the migration?

Using Teams, OneDrive, or Outlook for the first time, you�ll have to enter your new Ascentgl.net credentials once and then moving forward the applications will work as expected, this could occur for other non-Microsoft applications as well.
